"It calls for celebration"."And what shall we celebrate?"Hmmm!Let us celebrate our independence,let us celebrate squashing the civil war,let us celebrate instituting democratic principles in our governance.We jubilate because of the men and women who have made this country proud.Prof. Wole Soyinka,who won a nobel prize for literature,Dr. Emeka Emegwali forhis impact in the super computer industry,Prof. Dora Akuyili, a model for integrity and character .We cannot forget those who recorded great feats in sports-Nduka O dizor,Falilat Osheku,Mary Onyali,Kanu Nwankwo.... the list is long.And men and women of the armed force; they fought,kept their ranks to maintain our sovereignity as a nation .
There are those who have immortalized themselves in our lives. They live with us,we remember them for our peace,our freedom,our progress. They are the likes of Kudirat Abiola,chief Gani Fawehinmi,Anthony Enahoro,madam Tinubu.....
